Privacy Policy

Effective: March 18, 2026

Glypticon ("we," "us," "our") operates glypticon.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it.

We wrote this in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, email us at app.glypticon@gmail.com.

1. Information You Provide

When you use Glypticon, you provide:

  • — Email address (required — we send your results here)
  • — Job title (free text)
  • — Industry (free text or select)
  • — Country (free text or select)
  • — How fast your workplace adopts new tools (select: fast, steady, or slow)
  • — Your top 3–5 weekly tasks (free text)

That's it. We don't collect passwords, payment information, or social login data.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit glypticon.com, we automatically collect:

  • — Device information — browser type, operating system, device identifiers (via PostHog)
  • — Usage data — pages visited, features used, actions taken (via PostHog and Google Analytics)
  • — Log data — IP address, access times, referring URLs
  • — Location data — general geographic location based on IP address
  • — Ad interaction data — click IDs and conversion events (via Meta Pixel)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you provide to:

  • — Generate your personalized career disruption analysis
  • — Send your results to your email
  • — Improve the accuracy of our models over time (in aggregate, never individually)

We use automatically collected data to:

  • — Understand how people use the product so we can make it better
  • — Measure whether our advertising is working (not to target you personally)
  • — Monitor for errors and fix them

4. Third Parties Who Receive Data

We share data with the following services, each for a specific purpose:

Anthropic

Processes your job inputs through their AI API to generate your analysis. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.

PostHog

Product analytics and session recording. Helps us understand how people use Glypticon.

Google Analytics (GA4)

Web analytics. Tracks page views and user interactions in aggregate.

Meta/Facebook (Pixel + Conversion API)

Ad measurement. Tells us whether our ads led to someone using the product. We do not use this to build targeting audiences from your data.

Sentry

Error tracking. Captures technical errors so we can fix bugs.

Email service provider

Sends your analysis results to your email address.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not share your data with employers. We do not use your inputs to train AI models.

5. How Results Are Stored and Shared

When your analysis completes, it gets a unique hash — a random string that maps to your stored result. This hash is used in share URLs.

Share URLs are opaque. They contain no personal data — no name, no email, nothing identifiable. When someone views a shared timeline, they see your job title, industry, country, organization type, and analysis metrics. Never your email or name.

Share URLs expire after 30 days.

6. Data Retention

  • — Email address — retained until you request deletion
  • — Analysis results — share URLs are accessible for 30 days
  • — Usage and analytics data — retained in aggregated and anonymized form

7. Your Rights (California Residents)

If you're a California resident, under the CCPA you have the right to:

  • — Know what personal information we collect about you
  • — Request deletion of your personal information
  • — Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we don't sell it, but the right is yours)
  • — Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at app.glypticon@gmail.com. We'll respond within 45 days.

8. Children

Glypticon is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. There is no industry consensus on what DNT means in practice, so we haven't implemented a response.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and note what changed. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email if we have your address.
